Ahmad Duncan (b. 2003) is a composer and bassoonist from Fayetteville, Georgia. His catalog includes works for solo, chamber, and large ensemble. Duncan’s works have been performed on numerous Society of Composers Inc. (SCI) Concerts, recitals, and featured on the SoundNOW Contemporary Music festival. He has composed works for professional groups including Smol Duo and Bent Frequency Duo. Duncan has also arranged music for the Georgia State Panther Basketball Band. In 2026, Duncan was named winner of the GSU undergraduate conducting competition for winds and percussion. He has received a Bachelor's Degree in music composition from Georgia State University, summa cum laude, studying under Dr. Nickitas Demos. Duncan currently works as a freelance composer and privately teaches composition, music theory, and bassoon pedagogy.
